Privacy Policy

This website is operated by Atlas Core Technologies ("A.C.T.", "Atlas", "we", "us"). Atlas is an Africa-founded procurement and multimodal logistics platform in development. Corporate registration details will be added to this policy once available. For any privacy question, contact enquiries@atlascore.africa.

We collect the information you choose to give us through our forms and correspondence, which may include:

• your name, role, company or organisation name, email address and phone or WhatsApp number;
• details of your procurement, logistics, supplier or partnership request, such as products, quantities, cargo descriptions, origins, destinations, dates and budgets;
• if you create an Atlas account: your email address, password (stored only in secured, one-way encrypted form by our sign-in provider; Atlas staff can never see it, and password resets are handled only through a secure, single-use email link), and any profile details you add, such as your name, phone number and country;
• if you add an organisation to your account: its name, type, country, city, website and description, and which account holders are its owners or members;
• if you apply for a membership plan, including Atlas Platinum: the plan, your chosen payment option and opportunity-area preferences, your application's status history and, where applicable, a record of offline payments confirmed by Atlas staff (amount, date, instalment number and a non-sensitive reference — never card or bank numbers);
• if you use the marketplace: requirements, supplier profiles and responses you submit, and items you save;
• if you send an Atlas Travel request: departure and destinations, dates, number of adult and child travellers, travel and accommodation preferences, interests, business-introduction industries and objectives, whether VVIP or security services are requested, budget range and special requirements. Please share passport, health or sensitive security details only when Atlas asks for them through an agreed channel;
• in-account notifications about changes to your requests, applications and payments, and reminder emails for upcoming or overdue Platinum instalments;
• a record that you agreed to our handling of your details, and when;
• limited technical information needed to run and protect the site, such as submission time, a one-way (hashed) network identifier used for abuse prevention, and, if you arrived from a campaign link, the campaign source.

Account and organisation details are private to you and the members of your organisation, and to authorised Atlas staff. They are not published. We use them to run your account, keep it secure and operate the marketplace. Approved supplier profiles and approved requirements are shown publicly without contact details, and buyer and supplier identities are only shared when Atlas makes an introduction. Read notifications are kept for 12 months. You can edit your profile and organisation details in your account at any time, or contact us to close your account.

Please do not send identity documents, bank details or other sensitive information through our forms.

• to respond to enquiries and send acknowledgements with your reference number;
• to assess procurement requests and source goods on your behalf;
• to plan and coordinate logistics solutions, including road, rail, air, sea and multimodal movements;
• to review supplier and partnership applications;
• to communicate with you about your request;
• to keep the website secure, prevent spam and abuse, and keep appropriate records;
• for other legitimate operational purposes connected with running our business, and to meet legal obligations.

If you use the optional assistant on our procurement or logistics forms, the text you enter is processed by a technology provider to suggest how to fill in the form. You review and can edit every field before submitting.

We do not sell your personal information. Where necessary to handle your request, we may share relevant details with:

• suppliers and manufacturers approached to source goods;
• carriers, freight forwarders and transport operators;
• for Atlas Travel requests: airlines, charter operators or brokers, hotels, lodges, villas, destination and ground-transport providers, qualified security providers and, where you ask for introductions, potential business counterparts — only what is needed to prepare or deliver your trip;
• customs, clearing and other licensed third-party service providers;
• technology providers that host our website, database and email systems;
• professional advisers, or authorities where required by law.

We share only what is reasonably needed for the purpose. Internal staff notes about a request are never shared with other customers.

Atlas is designed to support trade within Africa and between Africa and global markets. Your information may therefore be stored or processed in, or transferred to, countries other than your own — for example where our technology providers operate, or where a supplier, carrier or service provider involved in your request is located. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to protect your information in line with applicable law.

We keep information for as long as needed to handle your request, maintain business records, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations, and then delete or anonymise it.

Access to submitted information is restricted to authorised Atlas staff, and technical safeguards are used to protect it. No online system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We use only the storage needed for the site to work, such as keeping staff signed in and remembering campaign source details for the duration of a visit. We do not currently use third-party advertising trackers. If we introduce non-essential analytics or advertising technologies in future, they may be subject to your consent where required, and this policy will be updated.

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a data protection authority. To make a request, email enquiries@atlascore.africa. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it.

We may update this policy as Atlas develops, including once corporate registration details are available. The current version will always be published on this page.
